Fall Ball runs for about 8 weeks (September & October) and is primarily an instructional season to prepare players for the next level of play. Each team will have 1 field practice, 1 batting cage session, and 1 weekend game per week.
TCLL offers four divisions of Fall Ball:
Rookie (Saturday Games)
Minors (Sunday Games)
Majors (Sunday Games)
Juniors (Sunday Games)
Rookie League (Players league age 7 and 8): Play on Saturdays at Joe Wagner Field. Machine pitch. Games are intra-league. Teams will have the option to have fielding and batting practice once a week.
Minors - First-Year and returning Minors (League age 9 and 10): For players moving up from Rookie League and players who already played Minors and will be playing Minors again. Games are interleague and on Sundays at Joe Wagner. Player-pitch. One practice/one batting practice slot a week.
Majors - First-Year and returning Majors (League age 10 through 12): For players moving up from minors and players who already played Majors and will be playing Majors again. Games are intra-league and on Sundays at Joe Wagner. One fielding and one batting practice slot a week.
Juniors (League age 13 though 15): Games are on Sundays at fields around Marin, including Redwood High School. One fielding and one batting practice slot a week. Home field is Redwood High School.
